OSWEGO, N.Y. – Mike Dellicarri of the nationally-ranked and College World Series qualifying Oswego State baseball team has added All-American to his list of accolades. On Wednesday, D3baseball.com named the junior an Honorable Mention All-America on the heels of a First Team All-Region nod.

Dellicarri began his 2018 award collection with the State University of New York Athletic Conference's (SUNYAC) Player of the Year honor along with a first team citation. A few weeks later, the Congers, N.Y. native earned First Team All-Region from both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

All Dellicarri did during his junior campaign was lead the Lakers in runs (54), hits (59), triples (5), home runs (8), RBI (54), total bases (103) and slugging percentage (.624). His RBI, run and home run totals led the entire league while his hits and slugging percentage ranked second in the SUNYAC.

As his All-America selection indicates, Dellicarri is among the nation's best, as his runs per game (1.29), total runs, runs batted in per game (1.29) and total RBI all rank in the top 35 of Division III.

Dellicarri and the Lakers will look to capture the baseball program's first national title when it opens play in the College World Series at 11 a.m. (EDT) on Friday against the University of Texas at Tyler.
