Oswego State senior men's cross country runner Samson Dikeman turned in a second place finish at the 6K Oneonta Early Bird Invitational this past Saturday. Dikeman set a new school record in the event with a time of 20:05, which was 23 seconds faster than the previous mark. Dikeman helped the Oswego State men’s cross country team finish in first place with a total of 33 points, beating Oneonta by just two points. The men's cross country team is looking forward to another successful meet on Saturday, Sept. 11 when it host its annual meet.
Dikeman, an English major, is the son of Barbara and Samson Dikeman, Sr. of Altamont.
