Oswego State sophomore goaltender Paul Beckwith (Cleveland, Ohio) helped the Lakers to a 1-1 record against 2009 NCAA Tournament qualifier Elmira College. In Friday's night 7-2 win, Beckwith made 18 of his 30 saves in the third period as Oswego State held a one-goal lead at the start of the frame. He kept the Lakers in the contest on Saturday night, stopping 41 of the 43 shots he faced, as he suffered the 2-1 loss.
