Oswego State junior diver Shawn Merlin (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in dual meets against RIT and Oneonta this past week. Merlin qualified for the 2010 NCAA Diving Championships on the 1-meter springboard with a score of 279.60 against RIT. He is undefeated in each of the six diving events he has competed in this season.
