Oswego State junior men's ice hockey goaltender Paul Beckwith helped the Lakers open their conference schedule with a 2-0-0 record after posting a 5-2 win over Buffalo State and a 3-0 win over Fredonia. Beckwith recorded 26 of 29 saves in the first two periods versus the Bengals. In Saturday's shutout victory, he registered 17 saves as Oswego State posted its first shutout since February 14, 2009. The Lakers are 4-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the league standings.
