Oswego State sophomore goaltender Kyle Gunn-Taylor (West Seneca, N.Y.) played a pivotal role in helping the Lakers finish the weekend 2-0 in SUNYAC play with road wins over Potsdam and Plattsburgh. In Friday night’s game against Potsdam, Gunn-Taylor stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced in his first game since February 19, 2008. He followed up that performance with 32 saves as Oswego State defeated top-ranked Plattsburgh 5-2. For his efforts, Gunn-Taylor was named the SUNYAC Men’s Hockey Goaltender of the Week.
