The freshman swimmer broke his own school records in three events at the SUNYAC Championships to help the Lakers to a sixth-place finish. Prophet's time of 4:08.84 in the 400 individual medley (IM)bettered his school record in the event by nearly three seconds to become the first Laker since at least 1986 to win the event. He also finished second in the 200 IM (1:55.68) and 200 backstroke. His time of 1:53.16 in the 200 backstroke also met an NCAA 'B' standard. Prophet was also a member of the 200 medley, 400 medley, 400 free, and 800 free relays.
