Oswego State Athletics

The freshman indoor field athlete became the first Oswego State female to ever win the pole vault at the indoor or outdoor conference meet, as she stood at the top of the podium with a height of 11 feet, 5 3/4 inches. She is the first Laker female to finish in first at the indoor championships since Alisia Knight won the high jump and Jackie Cianfarano won the long and triple jumps in 2002. Dalcais' mark bettered her own school record by more than seven inches.
