The captain of the women's ice hockey team helped fourth-seeded Oswego State hold fifth-ranked and second-seeded Plattsburgh to just one goal in a 1-0 Cardinal victory during the semifinals of the ECAC West playoffs in Rochester on Saturday. Earlier this season, the Cardinals scored a combined 11 goals in two games against the Lakers. Sbrocchi led the Laker defenders in assists this season. Oswego State finished the year at 11-14-2.
