The junior wrestler led his squad to a 5th place finish in the nine-team Ithaca Invitational by taking first place at 141 pounds, defeating a freshman teammate in the finals. Gentilcore registered pins in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds to advance to the finals, which he won by decision. In his first match of the Invite, Gentilcore topped Brendon Morgan of third-place overall Springfield. The team result was a two-position improvement on last year’s 7th-place finish at Ithaca.
