The sophomore tennis player registered victories in doubles and singles against Daemen to guide the Lakers to a 5-4 victory on Saturday night. He partnered with Dillon Corbett (Sr., Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) at second doubles, as the pair erased a 7-3 deficit and saved three match points in a 9-8 (7-0) triumph. The comeback gave Oswego State a 2-1 lead entering singles play. In his singles match at the No. 2 flight, Van Hine, Jr. turned in a critical 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) win to knot the match score up at 4-4. Van Hine, Jr. also won his match at No. 3 singles over Utica on Wednesday.
