The freshman played a key role in helping Oswego State clinch its second straight SUNYAC Tournament bid when she batted .385 with a .769 slugging percentage and a .433 on-base percentage. In Friday's must-win game for the Lakers versus Geneseo, went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI as Oswego State won 10-3. She followed up that performance by going 4-for-5 with five RBI and three runs scored in a 9-4 win over Brockport to clinch the Lakers' playoff spot. After the Golden Eagles had a four-run sixth inning to pull within one run, Trovato came up with her biggest hit of the season when she hit a grand slam to put Oswego State ahead by five. Brockport went down in order in the seventh for the Laker win. On the season, Trovato leads the team in virtually every offensive category.
