Oswego State Athletics

Ashley Collins of the Oswego State Field Hockey team has been named Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 27, 2013.

Collins helped the Lakers to a 2-0 victory against Nazareth early in the week with a goal and an assist.  Collins found teammate Rachel Johnston off a penalty corner in the first half to give the Lakers a 1-0 lead, and in the second period took matters into her own hands scoring off a penalty corner in the 64^th minute for her fourth goal of the season.

Oswego concluded its season with a 3-0 loss to Oneonta on Sunday.
