Abubakarr Sow of the Oswego State Wrestling team has been named Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 10, 2013.

Sow took first place in the 149 pound weight class at the Ithaca Invitational going 4-0 overall.  Sow defeated opponents from Norwich, Ithaca and New York University.  The sophomore posted a victory over Eamann Gaffney of Ithaca in the semifinals and went on to a 7-3 decision over Darryl Ablonico of New York University in the finals.

The Lakers return to action at 1 p.m., on Saturday for a dual meet at Rochester Institute of Technology.
