Sabia Filiaci of the Oswego State Swimming and Diving team has been named Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 10, 2013.

Filiaci helped the Lakers to a 112-68 victory over Clarkson over the weekend with two first place finishes at the meet.

Filiaci posted a time of 30.33 in the 50 meter freestyle and went on to win the 100 meter butterfly with a time of 1:12.73.

Oswego returns to action at 1 p.m., on Saturday for a meet at New Paltz.
