Oswego State Athletics

Oswego, N.Y. -- Marissa Pariseau of the women's track and field team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 26, 2014. 

At the Hamilton College Continental Invitational, Pariseau qualified for ECACs by setting a new school-record with a time of 1:20.94 in the 500-meter dash. The finish was good for second place in the dash, trailing only a Division II runner from Roberts Wesleyan. 

Pariseau then teamed with classmate Kristen Harrigan, senior Sarah Wellington and freshman Ashalee Joseph in the 4x200-meter relay. The group finished in sixth out of 17 participating squads, finishing with a time of 1:55.39. 

Oswego will be back on the track at 11 a.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Cornell Invite.
