Oswego State Athletics

Oswego, N.Y. – Brandon Adams of the men’s ice hockey team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 2, 2014.
 
Adams helped tremendously to take down Cortland in a 4-2 win on Saturday night. Oswego took control early when Adams assisted on Chris Waterstreet's goal at 15:22 of the first. That goal was the Laker's first and lit the fire for Oswego who scored two more goals in the first period. It was in the third period when Adam’s finished the game strong, scoring shorthanded on a break-away goal in the last two minutes of regulation.
 
On the season, the sophomore has 12 points on seven goals and five assists. 
 
Oswego will travel to Morrisville at 7 p.m. on Friday for a two-game weekend series.
