OSWEGO, N.Y. Lisa O'Callaghan has been awarded Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week award for the week ending on October 5, 2014.

O'Callaghan's offensive prowess boosted the team to a 1-0 record this week.

The junior scored twice in Thursday's game against Keystone College to give the Lakers a 2-0 win. Her first goal came off a penalty corner in the 33rd minute, fed in by Grace Rinaldi. The second goal was also dished out by Rinaldi, as she passed the ball in front of the goal for a tap in by Lisa. 

The New Hyde Park native also recorded 10 shots on goal which not only led the Lakers but also was more than the entire Keystone team combined. 

Field Hockey returns to action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday for a non-conference bout against St. John Fisher.
