OSWEGO, N.Y. - Erika Truschke of the women's ice hockey team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week award for the week ending on November 9, 2014.

Truschke recorded two points in a 1-1 weekend for the Lakers.

The sophommore nabbed her first point on a goal midway through the second in Friday's game against Cortland. The goal would be the eventual game-winner as Oswego would defeat the Red Dragons 4-0. The Lemont, Ill. native secured her second point as she was able to feed a pass to Lydia Cosgrove who scored the second goal of the game.

Women's ice hockey will return to action next weekend where they have a home-and-home stand with Utica College. The first game will be at 3 p.m. on Friday at Utica, while the second be at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Marano Campus Cneter Arena.
