OSWEGO, N.Y. – Rashawn Powell of the men’s basketball team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on November 30, 2014.

Powell was one point shy of a double-double in a 60-54 loss to Clarkson University on Tuesday.

The Endicott native led the team, corralling 12 rebounds and setting his season an early season best. Powell recorded nine points as well, almost completing his second double-double of the year. The senior also tacked on two blocks and two steals for the Lakers

Men’s basketball will return to the court at 5:30 p.m. on Friday when it opens up SUNYAC play hosting Fredonia.
