OSWEGO, N.Y. - Abubakarr Sow of the wrestling team has been named the Oswego State Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Jan. 4, 2014

Sow went 2-0 during the NY/PA duals hosted by Oswego this weekend.

In the Lycoming dual, the junior earned Oswego's first three points winning by a 6-2 decision at the 157 weight class. During the dual against King's College, Sow helped lead the squad to victory, this time winning by major decision (9-1).

Wrestling will return to the mats on Friday, Jan. 9 when the team travels to Williamsport Pa. for the Budd Whitehill DIII Duals.
