OSWEGO, N.Y. - Lizzy Marks of the women's ice hockey team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the week for the week ending on January 11, 2015

Marks had two points this weekend as the Lakers defeated both of their opponents during the St. Michael's Doubletree Ice Hockey Classic.

The Fairport native created a few chances in the teams 2-0 win against Plymouth State on Friday. She really turned it up in the teams Saturday win against St. Michael's though. With only 5:34 left in the game, Marks was able to find the back of the net, tying the game up at one a-piece. The junior was able to add an open net insurance goal as well.This was Marks' first ever two-goal game at Oswego.

Women's hockey will return to the ice at 7:30 on Friday when it hosts the Chatham Cougars.
