He registered two goals and tacked on three assists for the Lakers. Herlihey then picked another assist during the following days game.
Montagna was not to be outdone by his linemates, tallying six points of his own through the two-game home series. The Fulton native picked up four points in Friday's contest, scoring two goals and asissting on two others. Montagna continued to show off his offensive prowess in Saturday's win, scoring Oswego's third goal of the evening. He also earned an apple on the Lakers' first goal.
Of the 11 goals scored by the Lakers this weekend, there were five goals in which all three members of the second line earned a point.
Men's ice hockey will return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday, when it travels to Brockport to take on the Golden Eagles.
