OSWEGO, N.Y. - Esther Garbiel of the women's lacrosse team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 29, 2015.

Gabriel's work on the draws helped her team nab a 14-13 victory over SUNY Canton on Wednesday. The junior was able to control a team-high eight to go along with a goal and two assists. Gabriel finished this weeks two games with 10 draw controls, four ground balls and four caused turnovers as well.

Women's lacrosee will be back in action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday as it plays New Paltz in a neutral-field contest at Cazenovia College.
