OSWEGO, N.Y. – Tori Trovato of the women’s ice hockey team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 28, 2016.

The senior goaltender was dominant in Saturday’s upset victory over Buffalo State in the ECAC West Tournament. She recorded a 32-save shutout on the way to a 5-0 win for the Laker squad.

The shutout was the third of the season for Trovato and her second with at least 30 stops. With the shutout victory, Trovato’s GAA for the season improves to 2.21 and save percentage increases to .919.

Oswego will be back on the ice on Saturday when they face top-seeded Plattsburgh in the ECAC West semifinal.
