Oswego State Athletics

Alexa Restante of the women’s soccer team was named an Oswego State Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 9.

Restante comes off a game where she recorded a career-high four points in the Lakers’ 3-2 win over the Fredonia Blue Devils. The Manlius, N.Y. native notched the game-winning goal and assisted on the other two Oswego tallies. It is her first-career game with both a goal and an assist.

The two assists raised the junior’s total to four on the season, which leads the squad. It is also her third-career multi-assist game and second of the season. Restante is tied for second on the team with eight points this year.

Women’s soccer returns to action at 3 p.m. on Friday for the final conference doubleheader weekend of the season. It will play Brockport before squaring off with Geneseo at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
