Oswego State Athletics

Heather Hebert of the women's ice hockey team has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 8, 2017. 

Hebert had an impressive week, while leading Oswego to a 2-1 record. The Hilton, N.Y. native turned in a 24-point and 10-rebound performance in the Lakers 64-58 OT win over Nazareth College. She then followed it up later in the week with a 20 point and 11 rebound game against New Paltz. The senior shot 7-for-10 (70%) from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe, which helped secure the win in a tight 57-53 contest.

Women's basketball returns to action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday against Cazenovia College.
