Heather Hebert of the women’s basketball was named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 5.
During Friday’s 71-42 win versus Potsdam, the team’s leading scorer with 15.5 points per game, put up 13 points while recording four boards and three steals. Her 13 points scored, put her into the 1,000 point club for her collegiate career.
In the following day’s victory against Plattsburgh, the senior forward had a career game with 22 points and 12 rebounds. This season, the Hilton, N.Y. native has recorded seven double-doubles.
Women’s basketball returns to the court at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, as they travel to Fredonia to take on the Blue Devils.
