Oswego State Athletics

Angela Ponto of the women’s lacrosse team was named Oswego State Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 19.
 
Ponto had a standout game in Oswego’s matchup at No. 9 York College on Sunday. She recorded a career-high 20 saves against the nationally-ranked Spartans.
 
Ponto’s 20 saves ties her for sixth most in a single game in Oswego State history.
 
The Lakers are looking to rebound from the loss when they take on SUNY Canton at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
