Oswego State Athletics

Emma Geyer of the women’s soccer team was named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the weekend ending Sept. 3.

Geyer scored twice in the Lakers 7-0 victory against the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs. In just 53 minutes of play, Geyer tallied four shots, two of them on-goal, both of which found the back of the net. This is only the second time in the captain’s career that she tallied multiple goals in a single game for Oswego.

The Liverpool, N.Y. native is only four goals short of her season high of six, which she had last year on her way to being named All-SUNYAC First Team.
