OSWEGO, N.Y. - Katie Reynolds of the field hockey team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 22. The forward and midfielder racked up six points over the weekend.
 
Reynolds led the Lakers’ offense on Friday afternoon against New Paltz, generating four shots on-goal, and scoring the Lakers’ third goal from the right side of the net. The Pawling native also set up her teammates, assisting on Kathleen Little’s first goal of the contest and creating the chance for Monica Harvey to grab her third goal of the year.
 
The junior would continue to generate offense for Oswego in its Senior Day game against Oneonta, contributing three shots on-net with one goal. Reynolds capitalized on Oneonta’s goalie straying too far from the net by firing it into the empty net. The goal was her team-leading tenth goal of the season.
 
Reynolds and the Lakers finish their regular season at 5 p.m. on Tuesday evening against St. John Fisher.
