Oswego State Athletics

OSWEGO, N.Y. – Junior Jeff Lombardi of the wrestling team had been named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 7.
 
Lombardi helped the team split a pair of matches this past weekend at the NY/PA Duals hosted by King’s College.  Wrestling at the 184-pound weight class, Lombardi pinned his opponent at the 2:24 mark to help Oswego rout King’s 47-9.  In the second match against Lycoming, Lombardi edged his opponent 8-7 in the final match of the day.
 
Oswego is back in action when they travel to Lycoming College on Jan. 12-13 for the Budd Whitehill Division III Duals.
