OSWEGO, N.Y. – Teresa Shattuck of the women’s lacrosse team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 11. Shattuck racked up 17 points in two games for the Lakers.
Against Clarkson, Shattuck picked up where she left off from last season. The junior, who set the single-season assists record last year, dished out five assists at Clarkson.
Shattuck followed up with a commanding performance in the Lakers’ 24-1 win at Elmira. With three goals and nine assists, Shattuck tied her career-high of 12 points (which she has achieved twice before). The Syracuse native was dominant in all facets, winning six draw controls and causing three turnovers for the Lakers as well.
Shattuck and the Lakers return to action at noon on Saturday, when they host York College.
