OSWEGO, N.Y. – Angela Frampton of the softball team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 25.

The team traveled south for spring break, where the junior dominated on the mound and in the batter’s box. Frampton combined for three runs, nine hits including two doubles and a homerun, and eight RBI in 24 at-bats.

Frampton finished the week with a .375 batting average and a .583 slugging percentage.

On the mound, the Corning native appeared in three games for the Lakers where she recorded a 3.21 ERA and nine strikeouts. Frampton pitched a complete game for Oswego and notched a save.

Frampton and the Lakers are back in action next Wednesday for a double header at Hamilton starting at 3:30 p.m.
