OSWEGO, N.Y. -  Jimmy Terzian of the men’s tennis team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 22.  Not allowing a single game against both Utica College opponents Terzian faced in singles helped Oswego to a 2-0 record through both days of action.

    Playing on the road Friday afternoon at third singles, the senior notched his first 6-0, 6-0 decision of the season. The West Seneca, N.Y. native earned his fifth match win of the year with the victory, before dominating at second doubles for the Lakers alongside teammate Dillon McDonald, allowing only one game to their opponent on the way to grabbing the 8-1 pro-set win.

    Turning around the next day, Terzian blanked his opponent once again, this time at fifth singles winning 6-0, 6-0 for Oswego. Partnering with Dillon McDonald again at third doubles, and winning by a single pro-set score of 8-2 over Utica, the senior earned his eighth win total for the Lakers in his final campaign.

                                        Terzian and Oswego wrap their season up against the Red Dragons of Oneonta at 4 p.m. on Wednesday in Oneonta, N.Y.
