OSWEGO, N.Y. – Corey Marshall - of the men’s golf team - has been named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 30.

The senior led the Lakers “A” squad to a first-place finish while taking home individual medalist honors at the 21st Annual Oswego State Fall Invitational. He shot a one-over 72 on Saturday, followed by a four-over 76 on Sunday to total 148 strokes for the weekend.

The Webster, N.Y. native’s performance in the invitational tied his career best in an 18-hole finish (72) and 36-holes (148). It was his best individual finish at the Oswego State Fall Invitational in his four years as a Laker.

Marshall and the Lakers conclude their fall season at 10 a.m. on Oct. 13 and 14 in Rochester, N.Y. for the Nazareth College Invitational.
