OSWEGO, N.Y. – Eryn Stewart – of the women’s ice hockey team – was named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 28.

Stewart put on an offensive clinic over the weekend with her towering six total points in the Lakers 2-0 start to the season in wins over King’s College and Wilkes University.

The junior accounted for a career-high five points in the Lakers 10-1 domination over King’s on Friday, perfecting a hat trick with three goals and picking up two assists on other Laker goals. She then added another assist during Saturday’s 5-0 win over Wilkes on a power play goal scored by Emma Morisette early in the third period.

Stewart and the Lakers return to the ice at 5 p.m. this Friday for their first conference matchup of the season at Buffalo State.
