OSWEGO, N.Y. – Alex Davie – of the men’s swimming and diving team – was named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 4.

Davie helped the Lakers improve to 3-1 on the season in their 184-104 victory over Clarkson University on Saturday. The junior collected individual victories in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.52), 50-yard freestyle (22.00) and the 100-yard freestyle (49.04).

It is the first time in the Rome, Italy native’s career that he won all three of those events in a single meet.   

Davie and the Lakers return to Laker Pool at 1 p.m. on Saturday as they host Alfred State.
