Eric Selleck had two goals and an assist to lead Oswego State past visiting Geneseo by a score of 5-1 in the SUNYAC semifinals at the Campus Center Ice Arena on Saturday, Feb. 28. Selleck collected both of his tallies in the third period to propel the Lakers into the finals of the SUNYAC playoffs. The Laker forward scored his first collegiate playoff goal at 4:33 in the third period. Selleck, a freshman who was recently named SUNYAC Rookie of the Year, notched the fifth Oswego State goal at the 6:17 mark of the third period.

Oswego State, ranked 10th in the latest USCHO poll, will travel to Plattsburgh this weekend to face the top-ranked Cardinals in the SUNYAC finals. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships. The SUNYAC Championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 7 at 7 pm in the Stafford Ice Arena.

Selleck, a wellness management major, is the son of Calvin and Debbie Selleck of Spencerville, Ontario.
