OSWEGO, N.Y. - Emily Knowlden – of the softball team – was named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 24.

The senior dominated opposing pitchers over the Lakers eight games in Kissimmee, Fla., batting .542 on the squad’s spring break trip. She recorded a .577 on-base percentage and a slugging percentage of .708.

In total, the Horseheads, N.Y. native had 13 hits, including four doubles, with half of the games she played in resulting in multi-hit affairs. Starting in three games behind the plate, she recorded 11 put-outs and two assists.

Knowlden and the Lakers return to action at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, hosting a doubleheader against Clarkson.
