OSWEGO, N.Y. – Bobby Emerson – of the men’s lacrosse team – was named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 7.

The senior scored four consecutive goals in the third period during Saturday’s 11-8 victory over Brockport. The goals brought the game from 5-4 to 9-4, giving the Lakers control en route to their first conference victory of the year.

The Lake Grove, N.Y. native boosted his tally of goals on the season to 22, which leads the team and is good for a top-five mark in the SUNYAC.

Emerson and the Lakers continue in conference play, travelling to Potsdam for a 7 p.m. start on Wednesday.
