OSWEGO, N.Y. – Annie O’Neill – of the field hockey team – was named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 8.

The freshman was an offensive force for the Lakers as she tallied three goals through two games.

The New City, N.Y.  native was able to find the back of the net during their contest with Elmira on Wednesday. On Saturday, the Lakers faced off against Wells College, where the freshman recorded two shots on goal, finding the back of the net each time

O’Neill and the Lakers return to action as they play host to Marywood this Saturday at 1 p.m.
