Oswego State Athletics

OSWEGO, N.Y. – Jack Van Pelt – of the men's soccer team – was named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 22.

The senior was able to capture his first collegiate goal this Saturday as the Lakers took on Misericordia.

The Otisville, N.Y.  native was able to find the back of the net during their contest with Misericordia within the first 11 minutes of kickoff. Van Pelt's first career goal also stood as the Laker's game-winning goal.

Van Pelt and the Lakers return to action as they play host to Geneseo for their first conference matchup this Friday at 4 p.m.
