OSWEGO, N.Y. – Graisa Madden – of the women's soccer team – was named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 22.

The sophomore was able to capture her first collegiate goal this Wednesday as the Lakers took on Canton.

The Baldwinsville, N.Y.  native was able to find the back of the net during their contest with Canton within the first 11 minutes of kickoff. Madden's first career goal also stood as the Laker's game-winning goal.

Madden and the Lakers return to action as they travel to Geneseo for their first conference matchup this Friday at 4 p.m.
