Oswego, N.Y- Amber Thomas - of the women’s ice hockey team - was named the Oswego State Athlete of the Week of the week ending November 17.

Thomas tied the program record for points in a game after scoring two goals and assisting on three more in the Lakers 6-2 victory over Buffalo State on Wednesday.

The Junior continued her hot streak into Saturday, scoring one goal and assisting another in a matchup against Cortland that resulted in a tie (3-3).

Thomas and the Lakers return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday as they host Canton for a conference matchup.
