Oswego, N.Y. - Ramatoulaye Sy - of the women’s basketball team - has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 24.

Sy led the Lakers to a pair of wins during the week while averaging 22.5 points and 11 rebounds. She poured in a career-high 29 points in the 68-54 victory over Alfred University on Saturday.

The sophomore forward currently leads the SUNYAC in rebounding (12.8/game) and is second in scoring (20.0/game).

Sy and the Lakers return to action at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6 as they travel to Brockport for a conference matchup.
