Oswego State Athletics

Oswego, N.Y. -  Raiven Encarnacion - of the women’s basketball team - has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the week ending December 8.

Encarnacion earned a career-high 23 points and was tied for the top scorer during the Lakers on-the-road win against Brockport on Friday (69-62). The Junior also led the Lakers in points on Saturday, earning 16 against Geneseo.

The Newburgh native is currently the third leading scorer as well as being first in made 3-pointers (12).

Encarnacion and the Lakers return to action on Sunday, January 5 as they host Wells College.
