Oswego, N.Y. -  Sydni Eure - of the women’s basketball team - has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the week ending January 5.

Eure scored a game-high 21 points on 66.7% shooting from the field in a 67-30 victory over Wells College this past Sunday.  The win improves the team's record to 5-3.

The East Syracuse native is currently averaging a double-double on the season for the Lakers with 15.1 points and 10.6 rebounds.

Eure and the women's basketball team return to action on Friday, January 10 at 5:30 p.m. as they host Fredonia in conference action.
