OSWEGO, N.Y. – Delaney Kendrick – of the women's lacrosse team – has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 11.

Kendrick anchored a strong Laker defense that held Buffalo State to just six goals in a 14-6 road conference victory to keep Oswego unbeaten at 3-0 (2-0 SUNYAC).  The Cohoes native made a season-high nine saves, including seven in the second half, stifle any thoughts of a Bengals comeback.

Kendrick and the Oswego State women's lacrosse team have a busy week planned with a road contest at 4 p.m. Monday with Geneseo, a 4 p.m. home date with Clarkson on Wednesday and a 1 p.m. home SUNYAC game with Brockport on Saturday.
