Fisher, a freshman, was the only Oswego State wrestler to win all four of his matches at the 21st Annual Budd Whitehill Division III Challenge Duals hosted by Lycoming College. Fisher, who competes at 149 pounds for the Lakers, opened the weekend with a 4-1 decision over Adam Spotcheck of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater before defeating Frankie Davis of King’s College, 6-0. On day two of the competition, Fisher defeated Nick Monaco of Norwich University by a score of 6-2 and Travis Drappi of Rhode Island College, 9-4. The Laker middleweight now has an overall record of 13-6 on the year.
Fisher, a technology education major, is the son of Bruce and LeAnne Fisher of Seaford.
